As the director of this year’s production of A Christmas Carol, I’m going to use this blog as the place where I journal about it. I’m busier than I’ve ever, EVER been, as a Director. I also have a two-and-a-half year old boy that wakes me every morning at 5:30 to ask if we’ve saved a spot in our bed for him. Apparently though, sleeping is not what that spot is for. It’s for jumping.

So by tomorrow, the show will be totally blocked (though there are still plenty of moments that need work), choreographed, and music learned. Now it’s about working on performance, character, execution, etc.

More updates to follow.

Actors work on the choreography to Greensleeves, a number near the end of the show.
