If you enjoy the girl groups of the early 1960s as well as the individual performances of this decade’s latter part when women were gaining empowerment, "Beehive: The ‘60s Musical," is the show for you. It’s currently playing at the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre in Arlington Heights and is definitely worth the price of admission.

Metropolis Performing Arts Center closes out its 2017-2018 season with the musical revue Beehive: The 60’s Musical—a solid production that showcases many promising young local talents tackling an impressive lineup of beloved mid-century pop tunes.
On the heels of the last production at the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre in Arlington Heights, I was sort of looking forward to “Beehive: The 60’s Musical”. After all, their “Avenue Q” was sterling. I even invited some friends ( who also loved that show) to join us.
