Metropolis Youth Symphony is an organization dedicated to challenging, encouraging and educating young musicians in the Chicago area. Through strong curriculum, commitment to practice and artistic engagement, Metropolis Youth Symphony fosters a lifetime of personal development and community contribution.

After a tour of Guatemala last year and artistic collaborations with several renowned guest conductors, there’s never been a better time to audition for the MYS. Auditions are held in May, September and by appointment year-round. Call the education office at 847.577.5982 x221 to learn how to be a part of the area’s best youth symphony.
