Metropolis 5K/10K Run and 5K Family Walk

Whether you're an avid runner or prefer a morning stroll, you're sure to find the race for you as we'll have timed 10K and 5K runs as well as a 5K Family Walk. The USATF certified course takes you through  downtown Arlington Heights making for a fun day in a beautiful location. Proceeds from the event will benefit Metropolis School of the Performing Arts and Outreach programs.

Packet Pick-up

Participants can pick-up their packets (including a t-shirt and bib number) at Runners High & Tri (121 W. Campbell, Arlington Heights) Wednesday, October 20 - Friday, October 22 (Click here for store hours) or at the Pre-Registered table in Harmony Park the day of the race from 6:30 - 7:45 A.M.

Race Day

Free parking is available in the garage on Vail Street across from Harmony Park.

Races will begin promptly at 8 A.M. on Vail Street, just south of Campbell Street.

Gear check is available in Harmony Park.

Awards will be presented immediately following the races. Trophies will be presented for the top man and woman of each race, as well as the top three men and women of each race in each age category.

Race results will be posted online at www.racetime.info

Not a runner but still want to be involved? Contact Neil at 847.577.5982 x229 or nscheufler@metropolisarts.com to volunteer. All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt.
