Celebrate Black History Month with an adaptation of Taylor’s award-winning novel, back by popular demand! Facing racial injustice in rural Mississippi, the African-American Logan family fights to protect their land and home. Through the eyes of their nine-year-old daughter Cassie, we see how a family’s love, strength and courage help them overcome prejudice and adversity.

An inspiring story teaching students the importance of tolerance and compassion for others.
