Join our vibrant and growing symphony by enrolling in our summer institute! Meet your ensemble, hone your skills and prepare for our first concert of the year. At the end of the week, you will perform in Harmony Park in downtown Arlington Heights! You do not need to join the symphony to enroll in the Institute. All symphony members are required to attend the Institute. Enrollment in the Symphony is by audition only.
Auditions
Auditions for the 08-09 season and Summer Institute will be held June 2008. Auditions appointments will be taken beginning in January 2008, by calling 847-577-5982 x221.

Preparation & Eligibility
Students entering grades 6-12 are eligible. Students must be able to play scales with four sharps & four flats, must be able to play prepared solo on instrument and must have some sight reading ability.
The audition will consist of 1 solo piece & 1 piece from your current ensemble. Be ready to sight read and play several scales. |
