Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music program for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners and the adults who love them. This program recognizes that all children are musical and provides families with a rich musical environment in the classroom, as well as facilitates family participation in spontaneous musical activity at home within their daily life.

Intro to Music and Piano

4–5 yrs
This music class is the perfect introduction for young students interested in playing any musical instrument. After exploring music symbols, singing songs, basic rhythm exercises and instruments, students will be introduced to basic piano concepts and fundamentals.

DRAMA

Wiggle, Giggle, and Grow

2 – 3 Years
Using a variety of creative, dramatic and fun approaches, including songs, puppets, arts and crafts, we begin to engage your child’s imagination and understanding of various concepts and themes based on popular children’s stories.

WGG: Imagination Exploration

4 – 5 Years
Students will engage in creative drama experiences and exercises. They will learn how to explore story elements and experiment with gesture, vocalization and creative play. In this class, we will build confidence and cultivate creativity and imagination. This is a great way  to get your child learning the basics of theatre, build self-esteem and hone their ability to work as part of a team.

DANCE

Tutus and Tap Shoes

3 – 4 Years
Your student will discover strength, rhythm and coordination while learning to dance. This class teaches early tap and ballet with a creative, relaxed and encouraging approach.

Fall 2010
  • Saturdays 9 – 10 a.m.
  • Tuesdays 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.

Movers and Shakers

 4– 5 Years
This class is an interactive and engaging way to introduce students to movement and dance by focusing on gross motor skills, balance, strength, stretching, shapes, energy use, direction, weight exchange and locomoting skills. Students experience movement in an encouraging and non-threatening environment where they build a foundation for physical expression of thought and emotion. This is a great next-step after Tutus and Tap Shoes or for a child ready to experiment with movement.
