Why the Metropolis Drama School?
- Students enrolled in Acting, Musical Theatre and/or Dance perform on the Metropolis Stage in a showcase at the end of the session
- Year-round students are eligible to be recommended to perform in our Main Stage SOPA Production
- SOPA students have gone on to win roles in Metropolis’ professional productions
- Classes are customized to meet the skill level of every student
- Faculty are expertly trained professionals, performers and educators
- Programs align with Illinois State Standards
- Students from every skill level come together to be a part of an ensemble that stays together from year-to-year, discovering new ways of mastering new & old skills
- New students are welcome at any age level and are immediately part of the ensemble
