  • Monica McCarthy, President
    • President, Performing Arts at Metropolis
    • McCarthy, a resident of Arlington Heights for 38 years, has been active in community service for 15 years including President of the School District 25 Board of Education, Co-Chairman of the Matthew Ives Memorial Track Committee, Founder of the Westgate Renovation Committee, Founder and Chairman of the political action committee Accountability for Children and Taxpayers, and director of the ABC 25 Foundation.
  • Robert Y. Paddock, Vice President
    • Executive Vice President - Vice Chairman, Daily Herald, Reflejos, and beepcentral.com
    • Paddock, Executive Vice President of Daily Herald, has 30 years of experience in a wide variety of charitable, educational, professional, and business associations throughout the suburbs and Chicago. In Arlington Heights, these have included president of Dist. 214 Community Education Foundation, president of the Arlington Heights United Way, and board member of the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce. He currently is a trustee of Roosevelt University and is President of the Cook County Suburban Publishers Association and holds an MBA from Northwestern University.

    • Managing Member, Metroscapes, LLC
    • Hesse is currently a self-employed real estate developer for Metroscapes, LLC. He is a Director for Peoples Bancorp and The Peoples’ Bank of Arlington Heights, a Trustee for the University of Charleston, a Director for the Northwest Community Healthcare Foundation in Arlington Heights, and maintains a grain and cattle farm in Elizabeth, IL.
  • Kathy Monnich, Secretary
    • Director of Operations, Omnibus Advertising and Marketing
    • Monnich, Director of Operations for Omnibus Advertising and Marketing, has been an active member of several community organizations, serving on the local and council level of the Arlington Heights Council of PTAs, including chair of the Scholarship Committee, PTA President, and other numerous committees. She also served on the ABC/25 Foundation for five years.
  • Lenore Bragaw, Director
    • Staff Attorney, Lifespan Center
    • Bragaw, a 28 year resident of Arlington Heights, currently sits on the High School District 214 Board of Education. An active Board member of the Women’s Resource Center, she has served the community on a variety of boards, including the United Way of Arlington Heights, PADS, AHYAA, and PTA.
  • Phil Collins, Director
    • Assistant Superintendent for Student Achievement, Glenview School District #34
    • Collins, Assistant Superintendent in Glenview for the past 5 years, previously held the position of Principal at Westgate School in Arlington Heights. He has resided in Arlington Heights for the last 11 years and has been an active participant in the ABC 25 Foundation, a member of the Arlington Heights Youth Commission, and is an active member of the Rotary Club.
  • Mary Ann Flynn, Director
    • Senior Vice President & Cashier , The Peoples' Bank of Arlington Heights
    • Flynn is Senior Vice President, Cashier, & Chief Operating Officer of The Peoples’ Bank of Arlington Heights. She is very active in the community serving as Treasurer for the Children’s Advocacy Center of Northwest Cook County, Vice President and founding member of the Woodfield Area Charity Organization Foundation, and a founding trustee of the Metropolis Youth Symphony. Flynn is also an active member of St. Hubert Parish where she has served as a member of the school board.
  • Steve Fromm, Director
    • Vice President and Branch Manager, A.G. Edwards and Sons, Inc.
    • Fromm is Vice President and Branch Manager for A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc., and also serves as Branch Manager for the Barrington, IL, branch. He has lived in Arlington Heights for 20 years and has been involved in several non-profit organizations, including ABC/25 Foundation, the Prospect High School Endowment for the Performing Arts and the University of Illinois Alumni Association Board of Directors.

    • Vice President, Sales and Finance, National Study of School Evaluation - R&D Division of AdvanceED
    • Harp, currently the Vice President for Sales and Finance for NSSE, has been an Arlington Heights resident for the past 28 years. She holds or has held leadership positions in the Village Bank Advisory Council, PTA, Frontier Days and the Community Education Foundation.

    • President of Commercial Banking, LaSalle Bank Corp. (ABN AMRO)
    • Richman, President of Commercial Banking, is responsible for all of LaSalle’s corporate banking as well as the bank’s national specialized industry groups, its international corporate banking groups and its leasing subsidiary, LaSalle National Leasing Corp.
  • Kevin Seifert, Director
    • Business Operations Manager, Motorola, Inc.
    • Seifert, a Global Business Operations Manager for Motorola, is an active member of the Arlington Heights community where he’s lived for 26 years. He is active member, and a past officer, of BUZZ, a philanthropic organization of dedicated professionals. He is a member of the Purdue Alumni Association and hold an M.B.A. from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.

    • Public Relations Director, Arlington Heights Memorial Library
    • Whisler, Public Relations Director of Arlington Heights Memorial Library, is Past President of the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce. She currently is a member of the Arlington Heights Noon Rotary Club, Downtown Business Association Board of Directors, Greater Woodfield Convention & Tourism Board of Directors, and a former member of the Mayor's Breeder's Cup Task Force, and United Way of Arlington Heights.
  • William Young, Director
    • President of Young & Associates, Ltd.
    • Young, President of Young & Associates, Ltd., a marketing management consulting company serving mid-market to global fifty firms, is also an Adjunct Professor of Marketing at The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business Executive Program in Strategic Sales Management. He has 20 years of senior sales and marketing experience for two NYSE companies’ divisions, including Gibson Guitars, Conn Band Instruments and Wurlitzer Pianos. He is also currently a member of the DePaul University School of Music Advisory Board.
  • Matt O'Brien, Executive Director & Producer, Ex-Officio
    • Matt O'Brien joined Metropolis in December, 2007, having been producer and artistic director for a number of theatres and events, including the Buckets O' Beckett festival at the Mercury Theatre, the Beaver Creek Theatre Festival in Vail, and Irish Repertory of Chicago. Successes at Irish Rep included the world premiere of Dermot Bolger's A Dublin Bloom, Daniel J. Travanti in Hugh Leonard's A Life, and Tony-winner John Mahoney in O'Neill's Long Day's Journey Into Night. He’s looking forward to working with the Metropolis team as the organization continues to grow over the coming seasons.
