The Village of Arlington Heights requires that all buses leave two car lengths open between them when unloading or loading passengers. Free bus parking is available on East Davis St., just northwest of Bristol Ln. The map below shows the route for buses to follow to downtown Arlington Heights' designated bus parking area. Parking is available on the northeast side of the street (the right side when following the mapped route below). While there are some No Parking signs on this street, this is the designated bus parking area for downtown Arlington Heights. Please ensure your bus parks only in this area as Metropolis is not responsible for any parking violations received. Don't hesitate to ask questions about the bus parking. We are more than happy to help and ensure you are parked in the correct area.
Reservations: Metropolis suggests booking your School Group at least 4 months before a performance for best availability. Tickets typically go on sale in the late Spring for the following school year.
Teacher/Chaperone Tickets: Metropolis suggests 1 chaperone for every 10 students; therefore School Groups are provided 1 complimentary ticket for every 10 students (*limit 10). Every chaperone over the limit of 10 will receive student pricing.
Payment: A signed Group Sales Agreement and non-refundable 50% deposit are requested 2 months before the show date, with final group count and final payment due 1 month before the show date. Once payment is received, the sale is final.
*Special arrangements can be made for alternate payment dates. Final payment must be made prior to performance date. Groups booked within 4 weeks of a performance will be asked to pay full amount at time of booking.
Seat Count: A final seat count is appreciated 1 month prior to the performance date (students plus all teachers/adult chaperones).
Arrival: School groups must arrive 20-30 minutes before showtime to allow for seating and restroom breaks.
Seating: School Groups are seated as General Admission at the discretion of the House Manager. School Groups will be assigned to certain rows of the theatre based on group size and availability, which may include banquet style chairs at the rear of the theatre. School Groups will not receive printed tickets.
Tickets for Hope: Title 1 Schools may apply for a reduced ticket price for students. This scholarship is very limited, and is subject to committee revue and availability of funds.
